Following the recent news of the band’s UK Tour in early 2019, classic rockers Inglorious have issued details of their much anticipated third album. The follow up to 2017’s ‘Inglorious II’ will be called ‘Ride To Nowhere’ and will be released via Frontiers SRL on January 25th 2019, just ahead of the first date of the tour at the Engine Rooms in Southampton on the 28th.

The band have hinted at a darker, more reflective sound on their new record – but won’t lose the pulsing rhythms and catchy tunes of their previous work.  Says frontman Nathan James, “This album is different in many ways.The songs came about very quickly. As with all our songs we start with a riff, and this time having new guitarist Drew added a new and heavier feel to a couple of songs. We wrote the basics mostly together all in one room on acoustic guitars and then I went away and crafted the stories I wanted to tell. For me this album is very personal. I am for the first time writing about a lot of my feelings, relationships and losses...”

Bass player Colin Parkinson adds, “On this album I feel that the songs are a true reflection of what we’ve been through over the past few years - both as a band and as individuals. You’ve got the highs, the lows and lessons learned along the way. The making of this album was at a time when we all had our own personal situations and changes to deal with. I feel that this definitely comes through on the recordings and particularly songs like ‘Tomorrow’, ‘Where Are You Now?’ and ‘Glory Days”.

Inglorious have already given fans a taste of what to expect with new single ‘Where Are They Now?’ which was released last week, October 18th. A typically uncompromising, hard hitting track, the song is accompanied by a new video which shows new guitarist Drew Lowe in situ with the band for the first time. He had this to say about the experience of making his first Inglorious record, “The album is the next step for the band in maturity. Being that it's my first, I wasn't sure what to expect, but as soon as we started we knew what type of record was coming. Hopefully the fans will love it as they follow us on the musical journey.”

The album was once again mixed by uber-producer Kevin Shirley (Joe Bonamassa, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith) who famously called the group “The best British band I’ve seen since…I could say the Darkness, but I really mean Led Zeppelin” when he worked on their previous record.
