The rapper known as Hobo the Ghetto Bastard has released his latest hip-hop album, “Hobo Funk the Great Hip Hop Depression.” The album comprises nine original tracks and has been published on the Swamp Street Records Inc. music label. With heavy doses of funk and rap in equal measure, “Hobo Funk the Great Hip Hop Depression” stands as evidence that the West Coast sound will keep booming, so long as hip-hop heroes like Hobo the Ghetto Bastard keep cutting titanic records like this one.

The singer and songwriter of soul music known as Niall MacMahon has released his latest official single, “Sold Out on Love.” The track has been proudly published on the Mosa Records independent music label, which has been home to such artists as the Vandal, Ray Morrison, Germaine Johnson, and South East Side. A blend of blues, rock and soul played way down deep in the groove, “Sold Out on Love” by Niall MacMahon is the latest example of Europe's part in the continuing blues tradition.

Avenue One is a new collaboration between two established producers in the progressive trance scene, but for now their identities remain anonymous. They've been subtly releasing work over the past year, including their remixes of Aly & Fila's "For All Time" featuring Jaren and Matt Cerf and Ost & Meyer featuring Fenja "Like We Love," so a fan with a keen ear could solve the puzzle. On February 9, the enigmatic duo releases their first original track together, "In Your Arms," on Enhanced Progressive and is one step closer to revealing their names.

Wild, really.
