Artists Fred Again.., Lil Yachty, and Overmono have just dropped an absolute gem of a track. One of the standout features of this tune is how distinctively each artist's voice shines through. If there were a way to quantify the sheer "vibe" a song exudes, this one would be off the charts. It's almost like it boasts dual hooks, with Yachty's mesmerizing "You've got a life, stay in it" refrains and Fred's infectious drops. The instrumentation is incredibly fresh, drawing inspiration from a myriad of electronic music subgenres from both the UK and US scenes. The synergy between Overmono and Fred is palpable in this collaboration, leaving listeners eagerly anticipating more from this dynamic duo.

Yachty is known for his playful rap/singing, Overmono for their bass-driven beats, and Fred Again.. for his unique takes on electronic music. I really think the soul of all these artists is showing in "Stayinit." A track like this is very much an enhancer for almost any scenario. Some songs fall into singular categories like “car drive song,” “bedtime song,” “party song,” and so on. "Stayinit" is everything at once and somehow works.

A lot of tracks that we find ourselves bopping heads to are deceptively simple. I mean, this track has a lot of interesting sounds and cool things happening, but it’s not like it has 230 layers of synths or many different drum kits/bass sounds. It has quite a few but very well-selected sounds that work super well together. Mastering simplicity is often key to making great songs. You know when a very talented athlete excels in their sport and it just looks so effortless? This song, put together, does not sound complex, but to fully understand all the collective experience it took to make this song is almost impossible.

My personal favorite parts of this track are Yachty’s emotional vocal hook, the melodic siren hook, and the jittery bass in the build-ups. So that’s actually about the whole track. My favorite part of this track is the whole track. "Stayinit" was released under Warner Music UK. It is extremely dramatic, just like how Fred is known for using dramatic hooks in his songs. He often has very dramatic build-up vocal hooks. Dramatic does not have to be negative. I think if you are just dramatic enough, it works well. He is not crying wolf. The dramatic build-ups ALWAYS pay off when we are talking about Fred. The build-ups always make sense when you hear the rest of the track. As for lyrics, it is kept very simple but still convincing, just like the rest of the track. The theme covered is perseverance, hope, support, and overcoming pain that might emerge from personal battles. I think you should give this track a spin; you can most likely find someplace for it in your life.
