Baauer has released a new track titled “All My Ladies,” which taps into the recent trend of reviving old YouTube EDM genres and transforming them into modern sonic masterpieces. "All My Ladies" radiates good energy and excels in its simplicity, featuring a steady house drum pattern, cowbells, record scratches, and pitched-up vocals.
Listening to this track makes me want to head to the nearest bar and order a watermelon-flavored Bacardi Breezer. "All My Ladies" isn’t meant to be a technical showcase of musical expertise or a deeply analytical lyrical journey. It’s just a fun, simple track that helps pass the time. Whether it will become a staple in clubs and festivals or simply brighten daily routines remains to be seen.
The lyrics deliver a straightforward, empowering message for all the ladies. Judging whether a song is “good” or not is inherently subjective. It's not only difficult to determine if a song is “good,” but also to decide the criteria for making that judgment. Ultimately, there are no objectively “good” or “bad” songs, which is why people often rely on listener reviews and critics to form a consensus. However, this consensus can change over time. In the end, what matters most is your own opinion.
In conclusion, I recommend giving this track a listen to see what you think. Personally, after about 20 listens, I’ve found myself hooked. It may not become a staple in my playlist, but it's definitely worth a listen. And yes, Baauer is the same artist who brought us the Harlem Shake.
