Review: Frankie Grande’s “Rhythm of Love” is an EDM Banger with a Twist

Frankie Grande has recently dropped an EDM banger called “Rhythm of Love.” The music video is dark and moody, featuring exactly what the title suggests—rhythm, love, and a whole lot of energy. From the very first beat, the song grabs you with its high-energy production. But what really sets it apart is a major switch-up that completely transforms the track from what you initially expect. The visuals follow suit, shifting from a murky dance club to a gymnastics/disco set, then to a dressing room, and finally, a full-blown theater performance.
Before this, I wasn’t familiar with Frankie Grande, but he absolutely delivers on this track. It’s got a heavy drop packed with energy, infectious vocals that stick in your head, and—of course—who could forget the saxophone? For a lot of people (myself included), just the presence of such a majestic instrument is enough to turn a song into a certified banger.
One of my favorite parts of “Rhythm of Love” is the intro. There’s something about it that I could listen to on repeat—it’s unique and stands apart from the rest of the song. The entire track is great, but that intro really caught my attention. I won’t spoil too much, though—you should give it a listen and form your own opinion. Another standout element is the mix on the drums and bass; they hit together perfectly, giving the song an extra punch.
It wasn’t until I read the YouTube comments that I realized Frankie Grande is Ariana Grande’s brother. And honestly, I’m glad I could write this without focusing on that, because Frankie is proving to be a great artist on his own merits. His voice is perfectly suited for catchy hooks, he knows when to repeat a good message, and he’s got a knack for writing memorable topline melodies.
