Dope Lemon recently dropped a really cool track called “She’s All Time”, featured on his latest album Golden Wolf. The song feels effortlessly pure, paired with a fun, bubbly music video that matches its vibe perfectly. I can totally see this one landing on plenty of summer playlists.
The sound is like a playful mix between “All Star” by Smash Mouth and “Clint Eastwood” by Gorillaz—both iconic in their own right. There’s a kind of cartoonish energy in the rhythm, like you’re off on a goofy, carefree stroll. The video leans right into that mood, full of quirky visuals and charm. Meanwhile, the hazy vocals and slide guitars give the track a slightly groggy, sun-soaked feel, perfect for lazy afternoons.
One thing I really appreciate is how the lyrics are clearly displayed in the video—it feels like a confident and transparent move from Dope Lemon. The words themselves are simple and sweet: just Don inviting someone out for a cold beer and a dance. It’s the kind of song that could mesh perfectly with your brain after two hours in the sun—just a little dazed, maybe slightly buzzed, in the middle of July.
Bob Power, a legendary audio engineer, once said, “If you can hear everything in a mix, you’re probably pretty far ahead already.” That quote stuck with me, and “She’s All Time” really brings that idea to life. Every layer of the track comes through clearly—despite its playful complexity, nothing feels overcrowded.
This song doesn’t force anything—it just flows. It’s easy, enjoyable, and feels like something people will naturally gravitate toward. Definitely worth a listen.
