Los Angeles, CA -- The Turtles, legendary pop rockers from the 60s are set to release a box set of eight 7-inch vinyl singles celebrating the band’s biggest hits from that decade.  The Turtles 45 RPM Vinyl Singles Collection will be released via FloEdCo/Manifesto Records on September 16, 2014. The collection includes the #1 hit, “Happy Together,” and the band’s top 10 cover of Bob Dylan’s “It Ain’t Me Babe.” Also included are other various singles which should have been hits.  The Turtles music exists somewhere between early 60s pop and the psychedelia of the latter part of the decade.    This collection provides an opportunity for today’s vinyl enthusiast to relive the songs the way they first appeared; as 7- inch singles.

If it's one act to keep an eye out for this year around, I'd recommend the upcoming anonymous producing moniker on Ultra Music, Kid Arkade. The imprint itself has been known to put out releases with some of EDM’s biggest superstars, from house kings Steve Aoki and Kaskade, to the floor-shaking trap duo, Flosstradamus.

Trumpdisco, hailing from Melbourne, Australia, has been pushing his off-kilter brand of electronic dance music since 2009, and now is set to drop his new EP. For those unfamiliar, you may have heard remixes that he has delivered for the likes of Diplo or Proxy, or perhaps have unwittingly heard one of his bootlegs for James Blake or Fatboy Slim. He prides himself on creating original and varied pieces of work, without needing to churn out an endless chain of club-ready singles.

Swedish EDM superstar John Dahlback, the producer and DJ behind the label Mutants Records, has just unleashed ‘Yalla’, the brand new single from Sydney based producer and songwriter Jimi Frew. Frew, who is a breakthrough artist, has previously released on Revealed and Big Fish and is busy growing his profile based on his quirky brand of electro house. Explaining the meaning of his new track, Frew says, “Creating it was a fun and fluid experience.  I’m passionate about big room, electro house which is a little left of center, quirky and yet still functional for the DJ on the dance floor.”

Two seminal albums by metal pioneers Corrosion of Conformity (C.O.C.) -- the 1991 landmark "Blind" and its acclaimed 1994 follow-up "Deliverance" -- will be reissued on vinyl by Prosthetic Records this fall. Fresh filth for Dubstep fans has just hit stores today, courtesy of the versatile young talent, LUMBERJVCK. Having just recently headlined at Avalon in Hollywood a little over a week ago, this face-sawing bass creator has become a name to look out for as of late. Now back better than ever, he’s just been picked up by Excision’s Rottun Recordings, and has created an amazingly murky four-track collection for the label.

Three years after the release of their debut "Astrodrama" -- produced by Jamie King (BTBAM, Scale The Summit) and described as "epic prog shred" (Revolver) -- the Texas five-piece WHITE ARMS OF ATHENA have returned with their much awaited follow-up! Their self-titled sophomore effort is scheduled for release through Prosthetic Records on Dec. 2.

(Atlanta, GA) - Five-piece pop-rock band The Funeral Portrait has signed to North Carolina record label Revival Recordings (owned by Shawn Milke of Alesana). The group will be making their label debut by way of For The Dearly Departed, a six song EP produced by Milke and engineered/mixed by Neil Engle at Adelaide Recording Studios in Raleigh.

Meghan Trainor was discovered by IAMA (International Acoustic Music Awards) and she won Best Female Artist in the 6th Annual IAMA (International Accoustic Music Awards) in 2010 when she was just 16 years old with her songs performed in acoustic format. She was the youngest winner in the history of IAMA.

Blues-oriented, psych-infused rock outfit ZODIAC have teamed with Revolver Magazine to promote the release of their forthcoming third full-length as they reveal the music video for its title track, "Sonic Child."

The Pop Group, one of the most wildly innovative and barrier-shattering band to emerge from the late '70s post-punk era, are finally seeing their rare and fabled legacy reissued forthe first time, along with previously unheard gold from the archives. After spending over a year collating original singles, albums and previously unreleased studio and live recordings, the band will put out a series of albums over time on the new Freaks R Us label via Kartel Label services and Amped. The first two come out October 21: a re-issue of We Are Time, a collection of early live and studio recordings and Cabinet of Curiousities, a brand new, nine-track compilation of radio sessions, live recordings, unreleased studio recordings and a long out of print 45RPM side.
