Ndubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos is better known as being the tough front girls of the band, however she is said to be feeling the pressure as she tries to fill the very big shoes left by Cheryl Cole on the judging panel of the X Factor.
Tulisa admitted to press that she was feeling nervous about her performance on the show ahead of the first day of filming in Birmingham.
Speaking to Heat magazine she said: “I am really nervous. I have mixed emotions this week. I feel pressure.”
She added: “I don't feel I'm stepping into anyone's shoes because I could never be Cheryl or Dannii.
While she may not yet be a household name Tulisa believes that she has every right to sit on the judging panel and has the experience to be able to make the tough decisions.
Speaking about her work with her band Ndubz she said: “I'm involved in the writing producing and singing, so it's not like I've had a couple of hits and that's it. I feel like I've earned my spot on the judging panel.”
This year the UK version of the X Factor is bound to have a totally new feel with only Louis Walsh staying on in his role as a judge on the show.
Simon Cowell has gone over to the US to launch the American version of the show and will be concentrating his efforts on this project while Dannii Minogue has moved on to focus on other projects she has while it is widely reported about the problems facing Cheryl Cole.
The Girls Aloud singer had been due to appear on the US version of the X Factor however Cheryl Cole has since been dropped from the show and is not taking her place back on the UK panel.
The new team for the UK X Factor will see Louis and Tulisa joined by former Destinys Child singer Kelly Rowland and Take That singer Gary Barlow.
Tulisa said: “Everything about the show is different this year, so we want to blow people out of the water with fireworks.”
