The interview which has already taken place was conducted by talk show host and media mogul Oprah Winfrey. This is the first interview she has given since the untimely death of her mother Whitney Houston.  Pictures have flooded the Internet in the last day showing Oprah hugging Bobbi Kristina. The Interview is going to be officially aired on Sunday March 11 at 9pm on Oprah's Next Chapter.

Sony Music has confirmed rumors that several Michael Jackson songs were stolen from their website by a group of suspected hackers. It has been reported that over 50,000 files which included a large number of unreleased material were hacked into and stolen. Although this has been confirmed, Sony have not yet released specific information. They have refused to comment and elaborate on exactly what has been stolen.

Software programmers came together at the Spin Ping-pong venue in Manhattan on the weekend to construct music apps and throw ideas around. The idea was to present the brand new apps at the Music Apps Hack Weekend, hosted by Spotify.

The winner of the grand prize went to a unreleased music app which was created by the same person who created +Music. The idea behind this new application is take everything from the Internet that is relevant to music and place it inside Spotify and put a play button on it.

The new iAlbums application has been designed to recreate the feeling of listening to, and appreciating vinyl music. It is supposed to give you back that old school feeling, with Spotify and Rdio along with other applications, people have become less appreciative of music. Therefore iAlbums is bringing that appreciation back by allowing the user to listen to full albums on their iPhone instead of through a record player.
