After completing a UK and Ireland headline tour as well as collaborating with Swedish dance star Oliver Nelson on ‘Long Summer Nights’, Lilla Vargen today releases ‘The Lucky One’, her first solo track of 2022. The Northern Irish singer-songwriter has previously toured arenas with Dermot Kennedy, picked up Radio 1 and RTÉ airplay, and hit numerous New Music Friday playlists on the way to exceeding 30 million streams to date.

Neither artist here needs much of an introduction, although, I am interested to know how, why and when they decided that this duet should happen! It does always surprise me when we see artists' ages appear and I often forget how much time has passed since they were first brought into the public eye. Elton John, now 75 and Britney Spears is now 40! Both artists are undoubtedly icons and have legions of fans across the globe that will buy Hold Me Closer.

It will also include music from top performers around the world who have pledged their support to Ukraine. The goal of the launch is to engage global music fans with supporting Ukraine, as well as to popularize Ukrainian culture worldwide. Users can now donate via the link in the playlist's description, which leads to the country’s main fundraising platform, UNITED24, launched by the President of Ukraine.
