The 1975 have returned with a new album titled Being Funny in a Foreign Language, and it’s quite the unique package. Skerryvore have reinvented and reignited Scottish roots music with a modern alt-pop flavour that has connected with an ever-expanding multicultural global audience. But as the pandemic broke, the octet’s international touring immediately ceased. Yet from challenge came opportunity. And when they returned in 2021 with ‘You & I’, the track became their first to be playlisted at Radio 2 buoyed by huge support from Jeremy Vine.

In news that has thrilled the music world, American groove metal legends, Pantera, have unleashed a teaser video on Instagram confirming they have started rehearsals for a 2023 world tour. This will be the first time the band has hit the road in more than years when the tour officially kicks off in December of this year. And the other big news is that they have already added nine more shows to their tour.

Now part of Bell Bottom Country, you can listen to the song below. The fiery song depicts a powerhouse woman not scared of who she is or where she’s been, including hell. Wilson made her acting debut in the Season 5 premiere as a musician named ‘Abby,’ a role creator Taylor Sheridan created specifically for her, and one that will see her sing more original music throughout the season.

The music community was stunned on 26 October by the shock announcement from Nightwish frontwoman, Floor Jansen. The Dutch singer revealed in a personal letter via Instagram that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Holding no details back, she shared with her fans that thanks to early detection, her prognosis was positive, yet there was still a road of healing ahead. She explained that she would need surgery and further tests and would provide updates as her journey continued. Jansen also chose to remind everyone of the importance of regular mammograms. Telling women to get checked and men to remind the ladies in their life to do these life-saving tests regularly.

GRAMMY® nominated singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist JP Saxe unveils his brand-new single entitled “The Good Parts” via Arista Records. Listen below. The track was penned by Saxe and produced by close collaborators Malay (Frank Ocean, Lorde) and Ryan Marrone. Saxe will perform the song on NBC’s Today Show on Monday, November 21st.
