Following a few gigs supporting the Nimmo Brothers in November, New York blueswoman Sari Schorr has been added to King King's UK headline tour in January/February 2019 to set up a mouthwatering double bill of top class blues rock. King King, of course, are led by one half of the Nimmo Brothers' front duo, Alan Nimmo. With Schorr riding high after the release of her second album Never Say Never this year - and King King poised to go stratospheric on the back of fourth album Exile & Grace along with this year's massive tour with Europe this is a show not to be missed.

London based rock band Aaron Buchanen & The Cult Classics have announced a new deal with Listenable Records, and are releasing a special edition of their debut album 'The Man With Stars On His Knees' to celebrate. The new edition will drop on Friday 22nd February and feature five brand new bonus tracks - two studio cuts 'Undertow' and 'Fire In The Fields Of Mayhem' and three live songs.

Phenomena, the series of rock music concept albums conceived by producer Tom Galley and his brother, Whitesnake/Trapeze guitarist Mel Galley, and directed by Wilfried Rimensberger, is making a return with new versions of the three initial albums being released. Phenomena is credited with reviving the fortunes of the 'concept album' - rock records with a distinct storyline throughout, and accompanying multi-media and artwork -  in the late 80s/early 90s. The three records are now being re-issued as definitive editions with never before seen material.

Finland-based progressive metallers Wheel have announced details of their upcoming debut album. 'Moving Backwards' will be released February 22nd, 2019 via Odyssey Music Network. It follows the group's two EPs, 2017's The Path and 2018's The Divide. The album will see the band expanding their unique collage of prog rock, grunge and film scores that have seen them compared to metal icons Tool.

The trailblazing rulers of prog-rock, King Crimson, are to perform a series of live dates in 2019 in celebration of the band's 50th Anniversary. The group, which was reactivated by band leader Robert Fripp and returned to touring in 2014, will include both festivals and headline shows in the tour which will take place across three continents. So far there are three UK dates included.
