The Guardian has revealed that they will be partnering with Spotify to make a brand new music app. The new app will be for Spotify and it will use the Guardian's Open Platform Service.  The app will be great for music lovers as it will allow all the album reviews and latest music news from the Guardian online to go directly to Spotify. Therefore, allowing all the users of the Spotify community to access the information. The reviews will also come from the Observer online and it will make it easier for Spotify users to know exactly what is hot and what is not in the music world.

Smule who are well known for making the iOS apps such as Ocarina and Magic Piano have recently revealed that they are planning to purchase Khush. Khush is another well known company which created LaDiDa which is a an app that allows you to sing a tune and it creates an accurate beat from the tune. Doctor Conrad Murray has been hit with the maximum sentence for the involuntary manslaughter of pop star Michael Jackson. The sentencing came about after three weeks when he was found guilty of involuntarily killing the star by giving him a lethal dose of the powerful anesthetic drug propofol, on the 25 June 2009. The Doctor who plead not guilty to the charge is said to be devastated at the sentence.
